How We Verify Doctors and Clinics
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Trust starts with knowing who is on the other side. Before a clinic can review cases or send proposals on AIDA, it goes through our verification process. This page explains what we check, what “verified” means — and, just as importantly, what it does not mean. AIDA is operated by OTEXE Global Solutions OÜ (Registry Code 16536027, Tallinn, Estonia).
What we check before a clinic joins
Every clinic admitted to the Platform must provide, and we review:
- Legal existence — corporate registration documents and tax identification in the clinic’s country, checked against public registries where available;
- Professional licensing — the licence or professional registration number of the clinic and/or its practitioners required to provide dental services in their jurisdiction (for example, the cédula profesional of practitioners in Mexico, verifiable in the public federal registry), and sanitary or operating permits where applicable;
- Identity and authority of the signatory — who represents the clinic and on what basis;
- A signed agreement with us — including confidentiality, data protection and data transfer obligations (EU Standard Contractual Clauses where the clinic is outside the European Economic Area), and the clinic’s commitment to respond to cases professionally and lawfully;
- Sanctions screening — the clinic and its beneficial owners are screened against applicable EU, UN and US sanctions lists.
What we do continuously
- Clinics must keep their licences and permits valid throughout their presence on the Platform and notify us of any change;
- We review complaints from users about clinics (see Complaints) and may request explanations and documents;
- We may re-verify documents periodically or when we have reason to;
- Clinics that breach our rules, lose a required licence, misuse data or behave misleadingly are suspended or removed.
What “verified” means — and what it does not
Verification means the clinic has passed the documentary checks above at the time of admission. It is an important filter, and we take it seriously. But we must be honest about its limits:
- Verification is not an endorsement or recommendation of any clinic, and not a ranking of quality;
- We are not able to supervise clinical work. We do not assess, and cannot guarantee, the quality, safety, suitability or outcome of any examination or treatment;
- Treatment is provided under a direct relationship between you and the clinic, governed by the laws of the clinic’s country. OTEXE is not a party to that relationship;
- Documents can be forged and circumstances can change; while we check diligently, no verification process is infallible.
What we encourage you to do
Independent judgment is your best protection. Before committing to treatment:
- verify the practitioner’s licence yourself in the public registry of the clinic’s country (we can point you to the right registry — ask support@aidadoc.com);
- ask the clinic for the treating practitioner’s name and credentials, and for a written treatment plan and price before travelling;
- remember that any proposal received through AIDA is preliminary and subject to an in-person examination (see our Medical Disclaimer);
- check the clinic’s own reviews and reputation from independent sources.
Found something wrong?
If you believe a clinic on AIDA has misrepresented its credentials, lost its licence or behaved improperly, tell us at support@aidadoc.com or through the Complaints page. Every such report is reviewed, and confirmed violations lead to suspension or removal.
