This Cookie Policy explains how OTEXE Global Solutions OÜ (“we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on aidadoc.com. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in our Privacy Policy.

Our commitment regarding health data

Health data is particularly sensitive. We do not permit tracking technologies (cookies, pixels, web beacons or similar) to be used in connection with any health-related data on the Platform. No activity involving your case materials is tracked or monitored by such technologies, and no advertising or analytics technology has access to the areas of the Platform where case materials are processed.

What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of information downloaded to your device when you visit the Platform. We also use similar technologies: local storage and session storage objects, and — outside health-data areas — tracking pixels. References to “cookies” in this Policy include these technologies.

Types of cookies we use

By operator: first-party cookies (set by us) and third-party cookies (set by providers acting for us).

By purpose:

• Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Platform to function: login and session management, security, load balancing, remembering your cookie preferences. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating the Platform. These cannot be switched off in our banner; you can block them in your browser, but the Platform will not function properly.
• Functional cookies — remember your choices (language, interface preferences) to improve your experience. Set only with your consent.
• Performance / analytics cookies — help us understand how the Platform is used (pages visited, session duration) so we can improve it. Set only with your consent. Analytics data is aggregated and never linked to case materials.
• Marketing cookies — used, if at all, only on public marketing pages, never in the case environment, and only with your consent.

Managing your preferences

On your first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept all, reject all non-essential, or configure categories. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time via Cookie Settings in the site footer, or through your browser settings (see your browser’s help pages for Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox). Your consent choices are stored for 12 months, after which we will ask again.

Retention

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for the period stated in the cookie, which does not exceed 12 months for consent-based cookies. Details of each cookie, its provider, purpose and lifetime are listed in Cookie Settings.

Do Not Track and device signals

Where legally required, we honour recognised opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control for the pages to which they apply.

Changes and contact

We may update this Policy; the “Last updated” date will be revised, and material changes announced on the Platform.
